Accessibility statement

Scope

This statement covers the website reviseberg.com, in English and German — the pages about the product, the free scan, the free tools and the reference pages on WCAG and the BFSG — and the dashboard at /app/. It was prepared on 13 September 2026.

Description of the service

Reviseberg tests websites for accessibility. On this website you can read how the testing works, scan one page of your own site for free and ask for a report on up to 100 pages, use free tools such as the contrast checker and the statement generator, and contact us. Customers use the service itself in the dashboard at /app/, where they add their sites, read the findings of each crawl and draft their own accessibility statement.

Compliance status

Measured against WCAG 2.2 AA — the level EN 301 549 requires — this website is partially compliant. The content listed under “Non-accessible content” below does not meet the requirements yet.

“Partially” is also the honest status for any statement built on evidence. Of the 55 success criteria at level A and AA, an automated check can decide 0 on its own and 52 only in part; our WCAG 2.2 overview says which, criterion by criterion. Everything else rests on the manual review described under “How this statement was prepared”, and a criterion nobody tested would be untested, not passed.

Non-accessible content

• Product dashboard: the application at /app/ is in early access and is still being tested against WCAG 2.2 AA. Known gaps are tracked and fixed continuously; ask us for the current state before you buy.
• Report PDFs: the reports we generate are printed from HTML by a headless browser and are not fully tagged. Every report is also available as HTML, which is the accessible version — ask us and we will send it.

How this statement was prepared

Prepared on 13 September 2026 through self-assessment: automated WCAG 2.2 testing with our own engine, an agent-run keyboard and focus protocol, and manual review of every page template. It is not a third-party audit. We review it after every significant change to the website and at least once a year.

What the website is built to do, and what that testing checks:

• Every page works without JavaScript: content is delivered as HTML, not rendered in the browser.
• No external fonts or third-party embeds are loaded, so nothing is blocked by a consent decision.
• Landmarks, one h1 per page and a logical heading order throughout.
• Visible focus indicators with at least 3:1 contrast against adjacent colours.
• Body text at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1; interface elements at least 3:1.
• Usable at 400% zoom and at a 320 px viewport without scrolling the page sideways; a wide table scrolls inside its own region.
• Buttons, form fields and the menu are at least 44 × 44 CSS pixels; every other target is at least 24 × 24, or spaced as WCAG 2.5.8 allows, and links inside running text are exempt.
• Animation limited and disabled entirely under prefers-reduced-motion.
• Forms with permanently visible labels, error messages tied to their field, and an error summary that receives focus.
• The consent dialog is keyboard operable, closes with Escape and returns focus.
